Dr. Lisa T. Lau grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York, NY and then received her medical degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 2001. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Stony Brook Hospital.

Dr. Lau is board certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, and the Chinese American Medical Society. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish.

Prior to relocating to Texas, Dr. Lau was a pediatrician in New York, NY for 9 years. In 2013, she move to Texas to be closer to family. She has been practicing in the Houston, TX area ever since. In 2020, Dr. Lau established Rainbow Pediatrics of Houston.  

Dr. Lau is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized patient and family care. She strives to provide the highest level of pediatric care to all of her patients.

Dr. Lau loves spending time with her husband and 2 children, Madeline and Lucas, who are constantly teaching and inspiring her to be a better pediatrician. She and her family enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Dr. Lau enjoys cooking and baking with her children.
