Appointments
Appointments
We are accepting new patients. Same day appointments are available. Please call the office number or log into the Patient Portal to schedule an appointment.
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Walk-Ins
Walk-ins are welcome! Patients who walk in with a non-emergency condition will be fit into the existing schedule as best as possible. There maybe a wait as patients with appointments will be seen first. To minimize your wait time, call us to schedule your same day appointment.
Well Child Visit
To keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups. We recommend that you call our office 2 week(s) in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs. Click the link below to see our recommended schedule for Well Child Visits.
Sick Child Visits
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.
If you would like us to see more than one child, please schedule both of them when you make your appointment. Without an appointment, we may not be able to see a sick sibling right away, and you may be asked to wait while the doctor sees a scheduled patient who may be waiting.
Emergencies
If an emergency should arise, please call 911.
Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, trouble breathing, etc.
Poison Control Phone # is 800-222-1222 or Online. Contact them first for expert and confidential advice regarding any ingestion or poisoning.
In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions. However, if your child needs urgent medical treatment, we suggest that you be seen by dedicated pediatric providers such as those at Texas Children's Hospital, Texas Children's Urgent Care, or Night Light Pediatric Urgent Care.
After Hours
If this is a medical emergency, please call 911.
You can click here for answers to many commonly asked questions including medication dosages.
Please note that medications will never be called in over the phone.
If you need further assistance, you can:
- Utilize the 24 hour nurse line on the back of your health insurance card. This is a free service.
- Call our office number and choose the prompt to be connected with the nurse or doctor on call. You may be assessed a $25 fee for utilizing this service for non-urgent issues.
- You may also choose the option to leave a message for non-urgent questions or to schedule an appointment. You will receive a call back when the office opens the next business day.
- You may also send us non-urgent messages and/or schedule appointments through our Patient Portal.
- Go to Urgent Care: We always prefer you contact the practice before going to any urgent care or emergency room, as we may be able to save you that trip. However, if your child needs urgent medical treatment, we suggest that you be seen by dedicated pediatric providers such as those at Texas Children's Hospital, Texas Children's Urgent Care, or Urgent Care for Kids
Insurance
We accept most insurance carriers.
Please have your insurance card and a valid photo ID with you at the time of your visit. If we file your claim, you are responsible for any co-pays or deductibles at the time of visit. If we are not a provider for your insurance, if you are not insured, or we do not file with your insurance company, you will be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.
